Woohoooo!!!! It's 57 degrees outside!! We've done everything we could to get out of the house the past few days. Thursday morning we went to Gymboree. Thursday night we went to Mom and Dad's for dinner. Patrick had most of Friday off. He saw Taken with Jamie at Movie Tavern. He said it was really good. Carter and I had lunch with Kerry at Crossroads.
Patrick and I took Carter to his first movie in a theater last night, Madagascar 2. It was fun and he did very well. He switched laps when he got restless and he didn't talk at all. We didn't quite make it to the end, though, because my poor little boy got his fingers stuck in between the booster and the regular seat. I took him out when he cried and we decided to just take him on home, he was really tired anyway. We stopped by the park yesterday afternoon, but it was still too icy and limbs needed to be cleared. This morning we went to the Gymboree music class. We had a good time, it was fun for Carter to see some different instruments. He was BY FAR the most active one in there this morning. He never stops!
We made homemade playdough the other day when we were cooped up. It worked great! He played with it for about half an hour, which is an eternity compared to his normal attention span.
