Best word to sum up our week...POOL! We bought the family summer pool pass, so we are getting our money's worth. We have been the last four days, some mornings, some afternoons. We're planning to go tomorrow, too. It makes for a good day because they both love the water and have such a good time, and then they take good naps! Mom went with us one day, and then one morning I took them by myself and met up with some of our small group friends. I wasn't sure how it would go taking them by myself, but they were great!

Patrick changed out our back door this week. He was going to do some painting around it, and then found out it had rotted around it some. Anyway, he's the only person I know who decides at 6pm that the door needs to be changed out, and has it done by bedtime! He had to go get the door and everything. He's a "do-er" for sure.

Carter helped!

We got to do Church Under the Bridge on Sunday. Thanks to KT for watching the boys! It's an eye opener for sure. We helped serve a meal to people downtown. We just kept giving away the food until it was gone. The last thing left was maybe 20 pickles and the lady said she would take all of them because she was starving (she missed the lunch being served). Then she asked if she could have the potato chip crumbs, too, because she was so hungry, so we poured those on top of the pickles. Sure reminds me not to complain about anything in my life.
